MEDiAHEAD is honored to be included in this year’s 25 Under 25®!
This small business has some big news! Thinking Bigger Business has chosen MEDiAHEAD as one of the honorees for its 2016 25 Under 25 awards. The awards, which began in 2002, are presented to 25 local businesses with fewer than 25 employees. The winners are chosen by an independent panel of judges consisting of area business leaders. Companies nominated for the award are judged on their financial stability, ability to overcome adversity and challenges, involvement in the local community, distinguishing or defining characteristics, and company vision. Nearly 1,500 nominations were submitted. MEDiAHEAD is thrilled to be honored with this award, and is proud to be recognized among some of the finest small businesses in the Kansas City region.
Welcome, new clients!
In other news, MEDiAHEAD would like to recognize its newest clients by welcoming The Salvation Army Bed & Bread Club, Hunt Midwest, Sober City, and Midwest Land Group into the extended MEDiAHEAD family.
The Salvation Army’s Bed & Bread Club is an organization of generous individuals who have collectively decided to challenge hunger and homelessness in their communities. Hundreds of small gifts are collected in an effort to benefit our local food and housing programs. We are thrilled to have the organization as a part of the MEDiAHEAD family as well.
Hunt Midwest is a full-service real estate development company with a focus on industrial, commercial, retail, and residential real estate. The company was originally founded in 1931 as Midwest Precote, when it began marketing asphalt-treated aggregates, eventually becoming one of the largest asphalt paving companies and crushed stone providers in KCMO. Since then, the company’s impact on the Kansas City area, as well as throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas, has been significant.
Sober City USA provides fun, inspirational merchandise and apparel for members of the recovery community. The company began operation December 2015 by encouraging and helping individuals in treatment with inspirational and engaging activities while they focus on the road to recovery. What a great family addition!
Midwest Land Group is a dynamic team of passionate land specialists who are proud to be experts in the land they market, sell, and find for their clients. Not only do they have extensive experience in land sales, but they are also are outdoorsmen who are enthusiastic about all America’s rich heartland has to offer. We are proud to have them as a part of our family.
A remodel for the new year!
MEDiAHEAD is in the middle of what we call "an exciting new development,” and what others would call “construction.” We are removing most of our cubicles, and recycling tons of paper that was gathering dust. The re-design will help us clean up and get rid of the old and unwanted files, office furniture, and general miscellany. About 25 percent of our office space will be in an open area that will be accessible to employees and customers. With this new open concept, we will be able to accommodate quick meetings with potential customers at any time. Also, our parking lot is being renovated for a smoother parking experience.
This is tremendously exciting for us and we look forward to sharing the new office with you when the dust settles. We would love for you to come by and take a look when we’re at the office. MEDiAHEAD will be open for a half day on December 24 and 30, and closed for Christmas day and New Year’s day.
How to ensure your emails will be read
There are about 3.9 billion email accounts in existence worldwide. With such a tremendous quantity of messages being relayed electronically every day, there is a lot of competition for attention in any given user’s inbox. Being a victim of it’s own pervasiveness, the communication medium has become so popular that getting your audience to read your messages has become increasingly difficult. But with the right strategies and a little bit of flair, your email can stand out from the masses and get noticed by your audiences.
4 reasons direct mail is gaining popularity
Every business owner has been told time and time again that in order to survive, it is necessary to embrace changes in the industry. Usually, this adage applies to technological advances that allow businesses and consumers alike to communicate through more and more channels. But sometimes taking a step backward might guide you in the right direction. The appeal of “snail mail” may have diminished at one point after the advent of digital communications, but direct marketing is currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity.
